A Lesson in Malachi-ese

Malachi has been coming up with all sorts of new tricks! I am kind of using this blog as a journal of his progress, like a baby book, so I've been wanting to keep up with posting his new developments.

Here are some of his new words:

Bun (for "bunny")
Owie (he points at any mole, blemish, or bandaid and "owie")
"ock" (which can mean one of 3 things - "sock", "rock", or "shoe")
Bite

Hi

Bible

Book

Ice (one of his favorite things to play with and munch!)

But (for "button" or "belly button")

Gramma (for grandma's in general)

Papa (for Grandpa Ray)

Gran (for Granny Sheila)

Poppy (for Poppy Marty)

Meme

Eyes

tith (for "teeth")

And my two favorite:

Hi'-ya ("hello")

Wah-ee ("water")

Wow, that list of words is a lot longer than I thought it would be!

Here are some other tid-bits:

He recognizes what a baby is when he sees them in a picture or in person.

He has another tooth coming thru, finally! He hasn't had any new ones since March!

He LOVES to look at my big belly and "see the baby".

He loves music and dancing.
