Fat little bug

This is so funny. He looks like a monkey... poor thing! Cutest monkey I ever saw!

It's so hard to believe Morgan is almost a month old! He had been such a joy. Squishy babies are so great to have around. I want to write a few things about his first month.

First, he has HUGE feet! We've had to return some baby shoes that simply don't fit. None of the baby socks are even close to being big enough for his big feet. So he wears Malachi's!

We have learned to appreciate the furnace - yes, to keep us warm, but also to keep Morgan asleep! The white noise sometimes calms him instantly. I set his little bouncy seat right by it and it helps him sleep for quite a while. What's better, he takes a 4 hour nap almost every afternoon! Yay for Mom!

Morgan smiles a lot, and even giggles occasionally.

I heard Travis talking to Morgan today: "I like babies; especially when they are mine!"

It is so exciting to think that we're going to get to go through all the fun developmental stages with Morgan as we've been enjoying with Malachi. It will be so neat to see them both develop their personalities and interests. They are going to have so much fun growing up together. I can't wait to see what the future holds. Thank you, Lord, for this amazing privilege of being a parent to 2 sweet little boys!
