Last night we had a spectacular lightning storm on the eastern horizon. I lazed in our hammock on the front porch and got tossed about by the powerful wind - it was awesome! Malachi mostly played in the dirt of the potted plants but every once in a while, he came and asked "up?". He likes to hang out in the hammock with his mom!
He has been so sweet and spunkey lately, smiling and laughing, teasing and exploring. AND he went peepee in the potty twice yesterday! I'm pretty sure it was an accident, but still, it is a step in the right direction.

On the way home from our Missouri trip, we were welcomed back to the desert with a beautiful cloud display.
We have serveral of these trees in our yard. The flowers are so unique. I still have to figure out what it is called.

ps. Betsy I loved your scenic cloud shot. Is that a 'bird of paradise'? tree/bush? I am no expert.
